Conestoga Golf Club, Mesquite, NV

One of the newer courses in Mesquite area, it was part of our Mesquite package with Wolf Creek.  Although not on a par with Wolf Creek (what is though), it was still a beautiful course.  We were paired with a couple from Salt Lake City, who golfed really well and were very nice and interesting.  The course had a lot of elevation, which we love.  The fairways were beautiful (as you can see) and the greens were great, though a little tough. The first 9 holes are on the choppy side with lots of ravines and desert areas.  The back nine are much more wide open but still lots of desert and sand.  There are only two holes where water comes into play, hole 10 is shown above - a par 3. There's another really interesting par 3 on the back (hole 14) where the tee boxes are elevated and you can barely see the green.  Because it's downhill, it's really hard to judge what club to use.  There was a cart girl but we didn't see her alot, the course is large and mountain-y so they should have more than one cart girl. The course was quite crowded but because of the way it was laidd out, we rarely had problems or a wait. Would do this course again in a heartbeat.
