Collins Park, Toledo, OH

We golfed this little 9 hole course because we were driving south looking for some place where it wasn't raining. We paid $14 each, which I think was a little too much for this course. It was really unique...every hole was straight. There was no water other than the water from the heavy rains. There were no bunkers other than those made by the holes made by carts in the mud. There were really no fairways...it was just a big meadow. Obviously there was no cart girl but there was one port a potty out there. It is a city owned course in a city owned park so it was well maintained. The greens were in surprisely nice condition...very straight so we made a lot of putts. We had a hard time finding the tee box shown above...it was way left of the fairway. The picture on the right shows where Jerry was hitting to. The fairway was on the right of those trees. Very unusual course but must be very popular in the area cause they had a scramble every Friday. However we accomplished what we set out to do which was golf a little...
